Psychiatry Services

Psychiatric evaluation andmedication management for adults

Careful diagnosis, clear explanations, and medication management that is monitored over time — so treatment is both safe and effective for you.

Overview

Psychiatric care built on a thorough assessment

Effective psychiatric care begins with understanding the full picture — your symptoms, medical and family history, medications, sleep, stressors, life circumstances, and personal goals. Our providers begin with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation before recommending treatment.

From there, we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication, therapy referrals, lifestyle and sleep strategies, coordination with your primary care provider, or a combination. At each follow-up, we review your response and explain benefits, possible side effects, and alternatives in plain language so you can make informed decisions about your care.

Psychiatry appointments are available in person at our Westerre Parkway office in Richmond or through secure telehealth for adults in Richmond, Henrico, Glen Allen, Short Pump, Midlothian, and communities across Virginia.
